Editorial policy

Clear Journal aims to make information easier to examine without pretending that every question has a neat answer. Our articles distinguish explanation from certainty and make their scope clear.

Accuracy and review

We check that explanations are coherent, terms are used consistently, and examples support the point being made. Articles should not imply that a source establishes more than it does. Where a subject is contested or limited, the wording should show that plainly.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are kept separate from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is identified clearly as such; partner placements across the site are also labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial work.

Corrections

If a reader spots an error or a passage that could mislead, they can contact us through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are not evidence for an article's claims, and their use does not replace careful wording or editorial review.
